Im Rahmen der aktuellen Projekte, die Solidarität mit der Ukraine zeigen, und der Unterrichtsreihe Nigeria hat der Englisch LK von Frau Logeswaran in der Q1 einige Gedichte verfasst, die sich mit dem Thema Frieden und Zukunftswünsche auseinandersetzten. Dabei konnten die Schülerinnen und Schüler ihrer Kreativität unter freiem Himmel und bei bestem Wetter in einer entspannten Stunde freien Lauf lassen. Natürlich sind diese lyrischen Werke auf poetischer, englischer Sprache entstanden und spiegeln die Gefühle und Gedanken der Schülerinnen und Schüler, nicht nur zum Krieg in der Ukraine, aber auch zum Thema „Frieden“ im Allgemeinen wider.
Einige Gedichte wurden vom Kurs ausgewählt, die besonders herausstechende Wirkungen bei den Lesern erzeugen.

I sing
of a beautiful world
without corruption.
Of a country
without a dark and evil past,
without pain and suffering inflicted
by others more privileged.
Of a city
without it’s dark streets
and their even darker deals.
Of a future
where there is only light
and no darkness or evil.
Of happiness and excitement
about the bright future that lies ahead
with no remnants
of an arbitrary past.

about the beauty of Europe
where everything seems to be a loop
a continent full of war?
We want to save the planet
but still use plastic packets
and next to us, people get attacked with rockets
we wish for a life without pickpockets.
This is our dream
thus god please safe us form a nuclear beam
we pray for gender equality
but nobody shows mentality
and people still get judged because of their nationality.
This is our life
and we still catch the vibe
we are hoping for a better future
while believing in the legislature.
